We are an open community farm and we encourage you to walk around and enjoy your time with us. Please remember that children are your responsibility during your visit and should be supervised at all times.
Unfortunately dogs are no longer allowed on the farm due to the cross contamination risk.
We are a working farm please respect no entry signs and be aware of tractors.
You will have the opportunity to experience close contact with our farm animals. For your own safety please remember to WASH YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER after meeting the animals and especially before eating. Facilities can be found just up from the Farm Shop at the Bothy building (building with a large turret). Please note that guidance now states that cleansing wipes or anti-bacterial gels are not an acceptable substitute.
During and after the visit, make sure that you:
Wash your hands thoroughly before eating, after any contact with animals and again before leaving the site.
Never eat food that has fallen to the ground.
Never taste animal foods.
Do not suck fingers or put hands, pens, pencils or crayons etc. in mouths.
Where practical and possible, clean or change your footwear before leaving.
Do not allow children to touch farm equipment.
Camping at plaw Hatch Farm
With its peaceful and calming surroundings, our camping field has been enjoyed by many over the years. Families come from near and far to spend time relaxing and taking in the natural pleasures of the area. We have 4 pitches each fitting 2 tents and their very own fire pit. There is plenty to see and do with the camping field being near to the Farm shop, Farm animals and lovely walking paths to explore. We have had lovely comments from previous campers, some of which I have put below:
Please pass on our thanks to all at Plaw Hatch. We had such a magical time camping, what a special place.
I just wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay, the farm is good for the soul and you can feel life’s stresses fall away whilst there.
We absolutely loved it at Plaw Hatch and want to camp again as soon as possible. We took a lovely walk around the farm, it was a really wonderful experience.
Prices are £12 per adult per night and £6 per child per night. If you would like to check availability please feel free to contact Lucy at email@example.com. Thank you and Happy Camping!!!
