We love having visitors to the farm and operate an open farm policy, encouraging you take a lovely walk to see the land and animals (find a map in the Shop or click here for a PDF) Please take the time to read the healthy and safety information on this page to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit!

MACHINERY:

Plaw Hatch Farm is a working farm operating heavy machinery. Please be vigilant.

ANIMALS:

Farm animals are not pets. Rams butt, pigs bite, chickens peck, and cows are protective of their calves. Do not feed or pet them.

PEOPLE:

Pregnant women, children and the elderly should be especially careful around farm animals.

CHILDREN:

Are your responsibility and must be supervised at all times.

 

KEEP TO THE PATHS:

Some areas are off-limits to the public for safety reasons.

WEAR THE RIGHT SHOES:

Tracks are muddy and uneven. Make sure your footwear is appropriate.

 

HYGEINE:

Wash your hands after being on the farm. There is a wash station behind the shop.

WATER:

Please be aware of and careful around ponds.

 

ANTICS:

Please do not climb on bale stacks.

SMOKING:

Please do not smoke on the farm and take all litter home.
