Hand Made Christmas - Carve a wooden spoon with Bram - 5th December 2026
Join local woodcarver Bram Hulsman for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to carve your very own handmade wooden spoon.
Saturday 5th December 11.00am–3.00pm in the Plaw Hatch meeting space.
Bram will guide you through the fundamentals of spoon carving, taking you from a prepared wooden blank to a finished piece to take home.
During the workshop, you’ll learn safe carving techniques and how to identify a good piece of wood. By the end, you’ll have gained new skills and knowledge, and, of course, made your very own spoon!
Minimum age: 12 years (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
All materials will be provided, along with tea and biscuits. You may wish to bring a packed lunch or visit the shop for a bite to eat during the tea/lunch break.
