Our popular walks are back for 2026
Join farmer, Gala Bailey-Barker, on the last Saturday of every month throughout the season for a behind the scenes look at Plaw Hatch Farm.
Along with operating an open farm policy to encourage the connection between people and food production, these walks serve to bring you closer to how we produce your food and what we are doing to ensure the future of the farm.
We will meet at 2.00pm outside the shop and the walk will finish by following the cows up the track as they make their way to the parlour for milking. Although timings are not fixed, we estimate the walk taking no longer than two hours.
Spaces are limited so booking is essential. £12 per adult, free for under 16s (please still book an under 16s space using the option in the drop down selection below)
Please wear weather appropriate clothing (waterproofs, sunhats) and sturdy shoes as you will be going across fields with uneven terrain. Some parts of the walk are not appropriate for pushchairs or those with special access requirements. Dogs are not allowed on the farm.
